Girls will be girls

Standard

When you know how to do something, they say to stick to it! So it only makes sense that this mama would be having her third beautiful little girl!
And it would make sense that out of the two girls, only would cooperate with us at a time. =0)

I love these girls! And I can’t wait to help welcome their beautiful little sister into this world!!

I NEEEED…

a bigger kitchen! I really, honestly do! Sometime when theres nothing being worked on and my kitchen is clean I will share a picture with you!
There are several reasons I would really like a bigger kitchen.  If I had a bigger kitchen, I would have more cabinet space (so I could have more things to use for baking and cooking), more then one person could fit in there (I could work on the kitchen while Dayton does something like empty the dishwasher…i wont push my luck LOL), and I would have more room to make a mess while I make food! I LOVE spending time in the kitchen….I could bake and cook all day!  If I was a mornign person I would get up early every morning and make my family a delicious breakfast.
And I think a kitchen can be incredibly beautiful, and “YOU”

Tonight I threw together a delicious chicken!

A couple of chicken breats and  some bbq sauce in the crock pot on low from 830 until 6
some yummy rolls from kroger and some cheese
SERIOUSLY…YUMMMM!

the next location…

another beautiful place to have your pictures done is Luthy Botannical Gardens, over by the zoo!  While its a beautiful place to shoot, they do charge for people to do sessions there. Last time I was there it was $30, so if you want a session here, just know that what they charge will be added to your price!

I had a couple of other sessions here, but they seem to have disappeared, or they are hiding from me really well! This is a gorgeous place to shoot though, with lots of options!

I’m a creep

Standard

Or so I was told this weekend anyways!  I love doing photography, I love taking pictures of my little girl even more, and REALLY love capturing moments with her and her daddy!
Apparently my husband got his fill of this over the weekend really fast though!

In my defense, it’s the best practice!
AND…I don’t want to miss anything, I want to remember everything and I want to cherish every moment!

Even if I become the worlds hugest creep, I won’t stop!  Theres not a second that I regret snagging every photo of my beautiful little family that I can!

Here’s a summary of our weekend…

She was just too cute on Sunday, and the lighting was just too perfect…so I had to sneak in a little session =D

{i love that goober face}

Zoey loves to sing to us every chance she has. This is part of Jesus loves me…”they are weak but He is strong”

Jesus loves me this I know..

Standard

This is Zoey’s absolute favorite song right now! Nothing warms my heart like hearing my precious little princess belt that song out….or ask for us to sing it to her over and over again at bed time!

As a Christian mama, one of my biggest fears is that somehow…somewhere along the way I will mess up…I will forget to tell her something important, that I won’t proclaim Jesus in front of her in an important situation.  That she won’t hear the truth enough, or even worse that she will hear it and grow up and decide to go in a different direction!

Unfortunatley, I’m sure that I will never loose these worries, no matter how hard I work at it, how old Zoey gets, or even if I know that its not that way.  I know that as long as we all lay our troubles at God’s feet and live the best life that we can for his glory that HE will NEVER let me down!

I was thinking about this blog all morning as I blogged the previous location blog (ps….i have like 8 more for that series).  I really want to LIVE a life for Jesus, I want my husband to and I really want my princess to!  I want her to have a beautiful fulfilled life through, with and for Christ!  I want her (and everyone) to feel his unending love, his amazing awesome overpowering love!
AND…I just don’t just want to tell her about God, I don’t JUST want her to hear to stories and read the bible and go to church…I want her to see us make sacrifices to bring him glory, I want her to see us live out a God life!  I want to go on mission trips, I want to give my time and money and my everything to him. I want to go on family mission trips. I want to make a difference…and I want her to make a difference!

BUT as we all know…this world can be rough. This world doesnt always make it easy to be someone who loves Jesus!  THis world doesn’d make it easy to walk in his light and to shine it.

This is where I’m sure I will slip up…

I’ve been reading the book Crazy Love…and this sets my heart on fire even more…I want to make a difference….but this rough world…

and then, when I was waiting to go into preschool this morning to pick Zoey up from preschool, I stumbled across this

and when I say “stumbled” I of course mean God laid it out in front of me!

Roman 12:1 (message)

Place Your Life Before God

1-2So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

3I’m speaking to you out of deep gratitude for all that God has given me, and especially as I have responsibilities in relation to you. Living then, as every one of you does, in pure grace, it’s important that you not misinterpret yourselves as people who are bringing this goodness to God. No, God brings it all to you. The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us, not by what we are and what we do for him.

4-6In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we’re talking about is Christ’s body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we? So since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvelously functioning parts in Christ’s body, let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren’t.

6-8If you preach, just preach God’s Message, nothing else; if you help, just help, don’t take over; if you teach, stick to your teaching; if you give encouraging guidance, be careful that you don’t get bossy; if you’re put in charge, don’t manipulate; if you’re called to give aid to people in distress, keep your eyes open and be quick to respond; if you work with the disadvantaged, don’t let yourself get irritated with them or depressed by them. Keep a smile on your face.

9-10Love from the center of who you are; don’t fake it. Run for dear life from evil; hold on for dear life to good. Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second fiddle.

I AM CONVICTED GOD….make your changes in me!! Show me how to allow you to change myself.

By the way….if you are interested…I think I’m doing an ok job.  My baby girl LOVES her Jesus. We talk about him all the time, she loves going to church and reading her bible. she goes to a christian preschool, she sings songs about God, and (at only 2) has chosen Jamie Grace as her favorite artist!  I think things will turn out ok….but that doesnt mean I’m going to get comfortable =D

Eureka Lake, location option 3

Standard

Eureka lake is always a beautiful place to do pictures! But I believe its the best in the fall….this place shines in the fall! Absolutely gorgeous! This is another place where your kids have some room to run and be kids for sessions!  I will warn you though, benches and tables are weirdly places, so if you want pictures sitting but not on the grass, bring a blanket or we can figure out a couch!!!

Here are some pictures from the lake for you!!
